Sitting With Father Time

Sitting with Father Time, a moment so still His wisdom and patience, a powerful thrill With each tick of the clock, a reminder to be Present in this moment, for all eternity

He shares with me stories, of ages long past Of empires and kingdoms, that didn't last But in his steady gaze, I find a sense of peace For in his presence, all worries and fears cease

And as we sit together, in a timeless embrace I feel the weight of the world, slowly displace For in the company of Father Time, I'm free To just be, and to let my soul simply be.
