Created from 1 individual, defocused photo of the star Sirius and combined with the rings of Saturn from a photograph I took, Rings shows the effect of light travelling through a turbulent atmosphere which causes the star to twinkle in the night sky. Each photo is taken seconds apart and unique to that moment in time and will only ever be used once throughout the entire collection. The Siriusly Scintillating collection will showcase 1/1 artworks created from 1000s of individual scintillations.
