This collection is dedicated to spotlighting the significance of Ijaw fisher-women.

While there are several trades Ijaw people engage in, but our geographical locations makes fishing our most prominent trade.

Often the stories of women are overlooked, but the economical productivity of these women should be celebrated.

During this very significant month, it is important to me that this part of my history is highlighted.

Their stories are an inspiration to me, and I hope this allows others to learn more about the integral role they play.
