We use the same words to describe how we consume food as sexual acts. We lick, suck, bite, nibble, eat, and swallow food and each other.

We describe those we lust after with the same words we use to describe food. He’s scrumptious. She’s delicious. They’re delectable.

And just as we consume food, we also try to consume others, whether that be through a sexual act or merely the consumption of the image of others. We touch ourselves as we watch the objects of our desires role-play LIVE & NUDE on streaming sites. We ogle dancers on Tik Tok and people walking down the street.

We’re a culture of consumption, and often those in power don’t stop to think about what it’s costing all of us to need to look our best and perform. Lookism, sexism, body shaming, eating disorders - they’re all by products of a society that heaps impossible demands on people.

But what if we were to unleash our inner monsters and embrace all of our flawed, imperfect, humanity? What if we stopped policing ourselves and others and created a culture where self-confidence and comfort in one’s own body became the most desired trait?

What if we created a world where it was dangerous to be a ravenous consumer of others, where what’s truly tasty is blood, muscles, and organs of these voyeurs?
