Photography has been the bridge for my curiosity to dive into people’s lives for as long as I can remember. Every person I had the pleasure of photographing over the year was a special encounter of souls. In this image, I was standing in the middle of a local market in Ruhengeri (Rwanda) when I suddenly found myself surrounded by locals who looked curious about me. As soon as I realized they were looking at me, I pulled the camera out and snapped this shot.
