“POLLINATORS” is a surrealist piece of video art that immerses viewers in an intimate and infinite loop, exploring the realms of technology, identity, and symbolism. The artwork invites viewers to occupy the pilot seat- embarking on a perpetual journey of speculation, forever suspended in time without ever reaching a definitive destination.

In “POLLINATORS” the artists intentionally play with:
a) sexuality & beastiality: questioning the role of gaze, objectification, sovereignty and ownership
b) progress: interrogating industrialization
and commodification brought about by machinery
c) body: hyper-sexualized, targeted, sweet and portal-like

Visual homages (and middle fingers) to Vale Export, Jean Paul Gauttier and Helmut Newton are weaved throughout the piece, contextualizing “POLLINATORS” within the realm of surrealist video art.

“POLLINATORS” is Part Two of Sex & Speculation, a video art collaboration series aimed at increasing the social and fiscal value of non-male artwork within cryptoart.
