personal interpretation of "Pride," one of the seven deadly sins. Unlike surreal or monstrous depictions, I intentionally chose to portray it through a realistic human face, capturing the familiar, subtle expressions of vanity and arrogance we encounter in the real world.Hand-drawn with colored pencils, the piece deeply incorporates shades of purple—a color historically and symbolically linked to royalty, conceit, and supreme pride. This color bleeds into the subject's features, reflecting how deep arrogance can transform a person's inner essence. Through this texture, I wanted to explore the thin line between confidence and destructive ego.
