Hi! My name is Niloufar which is the name of Lotus flower in Persian & this is me... As a child I was always in love with anything colorful & creating and drawing was my most exciting childhood game... :-D I always had my colored pencils and markers, drawing in any occasion and gifting them to my family or friends... Drawing was always my way of expressing my feelings... The drawing that you see there in the sketchbook is my actual drawing when I was probably 5 years old... So I scanned it and put it in this illustration :) There are different elements used in this illustration each having a meaning. The butterfly is my mom with her pure love and care (also her name in Farsi is Parvaneh which means butterfly) There are other symbols such as gold fish, water and sunlight, of course along with lotus flower.
