This collection is a collaboration between Nuno Sousa and Abstract_Queen (Poonu Kulkarni). In this collection, we employ generative techniques to produce digital artefacts with the potential to evoke memories and allow the pieces to connect and inspire a wide range of interpretations. The art works seek to investigate the relationship between a viewer's context and a specific image. The viewer may let his/her imagination wander, contemplating the depths of the image formed by distorted pixels and digital strokes. As a result, segments of a dream-like experience are made available to the viewer, allowing them to mentally explore a realm where reality and imagination collide. Our process involves adding layers of digital strokes on generative artworks to create the resulting pieces. The first part of the process was created in Blender by generating noise patterns, fragmenting and mixing several images, and then adding multiple layers of digital strokes in Procreate.
