Artist: Vida V. | Digital collage, in collaboration with Text2Image generative AI. I use a pipeline consisting of multiple custom generative art programs of mine, written in p5js, to create abstract portraits from which I select ones that intrigue me. These portraits would act as substrates, providing the overall form, colors, and textures for an infinite space of possible portraits. I then use prompts that I have highly tuned through an iterative process of trial and error and which are informed by the end result that I seek, to let AI hallucinate faces that surprise and intrigue me even more.
