The violin, the snowflakes, the speed of the wind : here buried under the snow, the animals resist, the thunder will rumble but the hare, the owl, the wolf or the marten will resist. Resist for a season, because after all, there will soon be spring. Between icy silence and shattering storm, nature has a little respite and little by little the violins will calm down.

Inspired by Vivaldi's composition "The four seasons", I created this collection about nature. One scene perceived through your eyes during a walk while spring, summer autumn or winter is here. Listening to Vivaldi I imagined the birds, the freshness of the snow or a hot summer with crickets.

Vivaldi composed this masterpiece during the 18th century. It was long forgotten but then rediscovered in the 1940s by Louis Kaufman. Since then many artists kept reinterpreting these melodies and I chose to translate it into drawings.
