SCORPIO is one part of the artist’s ongoing lunar magick project and was created as an offering for the full moon in May 2020.    SCORPIO asks us to find the mystical in the mundane. We see the egg, an everyday object, but imbued with an erotic power through ritual . . . it is transformed into a talisman of supernatural desire. The egg embodies a temporal space between worlds; a balance where both birth and death coexist. It is a literal and metaphoric vessel, much like the human body, which can be transmuted and ritualized into the realm of the sacred.
