HUR — Handcrafted Persian Art

I created “Hur” with inspiration from the beauty and heritage of Persian art, bringing traditional Eslimi (Islamic arabesque) motifs into a contemporary and decorative form.

The contrast between the dark background and rich golden details represents light, radiance, and elegance, giving the artwork depth and character. I used natural stones, vibrant pigments, and transparent resin to create a distinctive combination of texture, color, and dimension.

My intention was to create a dialogue between Persian heritage and contemporary creativity, where traditional patterns meet modern craftsmanship. Each piece is individually handcrafted, making every artwork unique and impossible to replicate exactly.

I chose the name “Hur” because it evokes the idea of light and illumination—the same golden glow that emerges from the dark background and gives the artwork its distinctive presence.

For me, “Hur” is more than a decorative artwork; it is a contemporary expression of my connection to Persian art, light, and beauty. The original physical artwork is available and can be shipped to the collector upon purchase.
