As a child, I watched Bob Ross. Instead of painting the pictures, I sketched them in pencil, then in ink. I took inspiration from the beauty that emerged from a blank canvas. In this generative work, I take to code to build an impression of Bob’s vision of nature in a “larger-than-life” wilderness scene. Escape into the back-country. Wander through lush valleys toward distant mountains. Take in the scent of pine and dew-soak mosses. Listen to the steady breeze whispering through the bows of furs, hemlocks and junipers.
