Trying out every idea is my modus operandi. It works out sometimes and other times not. I've tried out a bunch of ideas which will remain in my hard drives never to be seen by eyes which aren't my own. This random idea I had actually turned out better than I thought, so here it is for all to see. It is the mash up of a "ROJŌ KANSATSU" piece which uses actual photos I took and one of the recent collages I'd been making using AI generated images. The "ROJŌ KANSATSU" series is made up entirely using material I took from the physical world while the recent collage (I've yet to come up with a name for this body of work) is made in large proportion with material derived within the digital realm. The "ROJŌ KANSATSU" series also is kind of abstract collage mostly without a central figure in the composition, so placing a figure in front seemed like something that might produce an interesting result. The word "SHERO" is one that I first heard from littlecakes way back when she used to curate physical art. There was a show she organized which asked the visitors who their "SHERO" was. It's just like hero who is a woman. I really wanted to write something, but I totally blanked out and couldn't think of anybody. Maybe I took it too seriously, but I couldn't think of any person whom had a direct impact on me male or female. That was regrettable and the word "SHERO" stuck with me ever since. With the recent collages, I'd been making figures which I thought could be seen as "SHERO"s. That wasn't what I intended and I was only making visually interesting figures that might work well for collaging and I'm quite prejudiced in a way that I don't like to look at male figures so much. Even though I am male myself, I can't say that I like my fellow men for the most part (There are exceptions of course).
