this one time i saw a square laid out, bare, stricken in the cold. it looked back at me and said, "i'm cold."

i looked at it harshly (perhaps a bit too harshly now that i reflect), tossed it a blanket, and moved on.

it followed me home and i put it into a grid with other found squares. i feed it from time to time, though i'm not really sure what squares eat.
