Reinvention
Dan Hawk, 2022
Description

Sometimes you discover formations that almost seem too mechanical and symmetrical to be natural, but this pattern found on the Oregon coast is anything but man-made. While the pattern was found in a dry area, it was formed by lapping water pushed by wind over a low area that drains slowly back into the ocean after a high tide. I felt it had a particular Dragon scale look, hence the name.
