QUALM KINGDOM is a web app that generates infinite, unique images with a single "Generate" button. Inspired by my father's photography capturing mundane yet humorous aspects of Zurich and Swiss suburbs and countryside, I trained an AI model on his photos. The project explores the stark contrast between the wealth and stability of Western Europe and the war-torn regions, which are not far away. By adding "war" and "destruction" to the AI prompts, the app produces ephemeral images of an imaginary war-torn alpine country.
