Posto 9

This photograph is like a song. A tribute to the musicians Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes, “The Girl from Ipanema”.

Posto 9 on Ipanema beach is an iconic meeting place in Rio de Janeiro.

I decided to portray Rio with women being the protagonists playing "altinha", controlling the soccer ball and always in the foreground.
