Painting Girl and A Cloud is inspired by black and white photo I took 10 years ago of my daughter Liva when she was 5. Since then I have held an idea to paint her many times, till this summer when I finally painted her portrait. It was a real joy to work on this painting and the creative process was a beautiful experience with a lot of love. Although this is a portrait of my daughter it is about freedom and future. Future of humanity. I do believe that we can truly see the future with the eyes of our children. Oil and graphite on wooden panel | 2021 | 103 x 125 cm
