During the pandemic, we take part in a global experiment of isolation, immobilisation, and introspection. We look inside, dive within, and face our shadow. To become healthy, mature and free, we must face our shadow and bring it to consciousness.

Award winning artist Tara Beata portrays this act symbolically in this series, titled Plesanje sa Sjenama (Croatian for Dancing with Shadows). She portrays the form of female bodies dancing as they battle dark spots representing danger, fear, repressed feelings, the aspects of us that we deny. Each woman is glimpsed in a moment of the dance that we perform throughout our lifetimes.

The first collector, at their request within 72h of winning, will additionally receive the physical work.
