Description
In this work, I use the hourly electricity outage schedule as both material and testimony of its time, a rigid system of numbers, queues, and blocks that regulates the rhythm of everyday life. Within this grid of control and restriction emerges the Tryzub - a symbol of statehood that grows out of the very structure that confines it. It is shaped by the alternating presence and absence of light, transforming scarcity into an image of inner strength. The schedule of limitations is transfigured into a symbol of dignity and endurance: where electricity disappears according to plan, a visual manifesto of sovereignty appears. This work speaks of light measured not only in kilowatts, and of an identity that cannot be switched off.
