"THE ART OF PERMANENCE" Chapter 3

Alberto’s life and career are inspired by and based around animation. He realized that his favorite films of all time were shot on film, a very delicate material that ages rapidly and requires a lot of maintenance, environmental conditions, etc. “I especially like this work as an NFT because the elements and themes are significant to the crypto world already: a punk, and a pill with that significant possibility of entering the Matrix, the digital world.” PILL has been photographed frame by frame on 16mm motion picture film both as a homage to the traditional vessel of animation, and to show again the advance of technology vs the delicate film prints. This 16mm motion picture print exists as a set of three completely one of a kind physical items: a 16mm PILL Gold print, a 16mm PILL Silver Print, and a 16mm PILL Bronze Print.
