Description
This is the first GIF of the series "PERSPECTIVES" that aims to investigate, from the contributions of Georges Didi-Huberman, how archive images can be regarded as a symptom, bearer of a private memory, providing space to a montage of heterogeneous and discontinuous times. To think of archive as a symptom means demanding his critical fecundity beyond its most obvious iconographic attributes. It’s from the concept of symptom, inner experience of the image, that Didi-Huberman establishes the paradox of anachronism, as he thinks of a time which is historically complex and impure, and which is manifested within the images. All pieces from this project are entirely produced with public domain archive images. Twitter: @SV3ZR.
