Description
A heart-shaped hole is what's left when love goes unreturned: the space where something was given and never received, or where something was needed and never offered.
This piece is about loving someone who can't meet you, and the empty shape that stays behind.
Part of my overpaint series. I generate a foundation image in Midjourney (v8.2 here), then digitally paint over it on my phone with my finger.
