Our Imaginations 01.
Inspired by the urge of wanting to heal from agoraphobia & anxiety disorder symptoms that keep me from leaving home. It's been a hard few years not being able to overcome these fears and feelings. With the help I've been getting, I feel like I'm getting closer to feeling the sun rays and wind against my skin.
About "Our Imaginations": This is a new process for me. I've experimented with Ai art in the past, but simply running text prompts and leaving as is. Now that I have established more art formulas that appeal to me, I've been able to combine all of those practices with some pass throughs with Ai. First I considered the elements I'd want for collage and individually create ai art till I am happy with the styles of outcome of each subject. Then I take all of those pieces into PS to digitally collage, very similar to the process of "Intriguing Seeings". One I have the composition I go ahead and alter everything until it's ready for digital painting. Then with this one specifically, after I felt it was done, I then took the finished piece through Ai multiple times to get many different versions of the creation. Then I did a final overlay type of collage of all those pieces, adding any final details or textures. I thought when I started this journey of combining styles, it would be quicker than my digital collage pieces, but turns out, it's the same, maybe longer due to waiting on ai to create for me, where as with "Intriguing Seeings", even if I'm experimenting most of the time, I can figure out composition right away. Here I'm waiting for AI to produce desired elements and trying to work composition around the abstracted pieces. Some major differences are the preference of "Our Imaginations" having a much more painterly-abstracted & light overlayed look, and not using the fine expressionistic lines I would draw over "Intriguing Seeings" artwork. I'm really excited for this marriage of my digital artwork with ai. Really looking forward to more creations as well as learning from the process.
