Yumeko is the youngest seer in the Cave of the Mirror Lake. Her oldest sister took her eyes and forced her to abandon her lover, and Yumeko burns with anger. Her third eye is blind to the real world, but sees conflict in every reflection of the surface of the lake, and makes everyone who talks to her return home in anger. It's not rare that they end up alone, or hurting their loved ones irrevocably, and in their most lonely moments they dream of Yumeko, playing the guqin and singing of her lost lover.
