I was sitting on some steps, in Rishikesh, along side the Ganga in December of 2018. It was a very long visible stretch of both river and walkway and yet only one soul walked along the path while I sat. A sadhu, in head to toe orange, making his way toward the main town. The sun was still low enough to cast long shadows over the river, and I was lucky enough to have captured the image as he moved between the shadows.
