This artwork represents the condition of world peace today in 2023 It’s tangled in sharp threads, failing to fly. Despite all the challenges there’s still hope, the drive is still there to achieve a world where we live in peace, as individuals and as nations.

In between two sides, black and white, future and present, the right and the wrong, here or there or anywhere, all hopes and prayers go out for peace and dialogue and a better world, where skies are filled with birds not bombs, hearts with love not hate…may there be laughter and not a crying child, may our wounds heal, old and new. And each hand is stretched out in support and to give not to take and deprive. Where the olive branch is not soaked in blood and the dove is free to fly.
