Description

In 2197, after Neo-Crystal City’s last artificial sun died, only toxic green and blood-pink remained. From the dripping ruins walked Necrochrome — once astronaut Kaiden Vale, now a circuit-bound skeleton in a rotting spacesuit, one glowing pink eye burning in his cracked skull.

The Neochrome virus had melted his flesh and turned his memories into shards of neon light. Every night he walked the empty streets. Pink droplets fell from his metal fingers, briefly waking dead towers before they sank back into darkness. Survivors called him the Final Gatekeeper. Meet his eye, and your digital soul vanished forever.

One rainy night a girl named Lyra, last of the resistance, stood before him instead of running. “If Kaiden is still inside,” she said, “the satellite still transmits. Cut the signal and you can finally die.”

The pink eye dimmed. Memories flickered — his daughter’s laugh, the smell of station coffee, the fire of re-entry. He touched her shoulder gently. “…No… I am the guardian… until the last light goes out.”

Lyra understood. He was the city’s final wall. As long as he walked, the virus could not fully spread. She left at dawn. Necrochrome continued alone through the pink rain, softer droplets falling now — waiting for the day someone would end the signal, and Kaiden Vale could rest… or live forever in neon.
