Description
Archival Native American photography, colorized and glitched to represent the dichotomy between indigenous influences on the modern world while our culture is simultaneously being marginalized.
Here we have three sisters harvesting corn, beans and squash. The sister's bonds are unbreakable and they have great strength when they are together. In indigenous culture corn, beans, and squash are known as the "three sisters" and when planted together they thrive and become stronger and more resilient.
