Echidna is the fifth in our Mythomemes series. It is said that each mythical monster represents a fear of the human psyche. Not to be confused with the cute, egg-laying mammal of the same name, Echidna, a half-woman half-snake, symbolizes both ophidiophobia (fear of snakes) and gynophobia (fear of women).
