Pericnik waterfall is one of the highest Slovenian waterfalls at 52 meters.
Two things make this waterfall special and interesting. One is that the waterfall consists of two waterfalls, one in Lower Pericnik 52m and the other in Upper Pericnik 16m and the second thing is that you can walk behind the waterfalls, making the experience even more unique. Once you reach the lower one, you can continue your walk to the upper waterfall. This second climb is a bit harder, but the views are breathtaking from the top.
The waterfall is located in the Vrata Valley in the northeastern part of the Triglav National Park, not far from Bled. As I already wrote both the waterfalls and the surroundings are amazingly beautiful and the most fun about it is that you can walk behind them both! The route is quite easy, so it’s definitely worth the hike.
