When no one is watching, I don’t have to pretend I have everything figured out. I can be quiet. I can let my thoughts wander without explaining where they go. There is no need to smile, no need to be strong, no need to become someone else’s idea of me.

This is the version of me I rarely show. The one who feels deeply, who gets lost in her own thoughts, who finds beauty in the smallest things.

I don’t have to be understood.
I can simply exist,
