Monochromes are my series inspired by two phenomena: basic colors and waves. Both constitute an integral part of our lives, and there are numerous variations of color/wave relationships around us. So I wondered what could be the purest incarnation of such a collision—not strictly a scientific one, but yet mathematically and visually beautiful and pure, caught in at the right moment? The Monochrome series embodies exactly such a relationship: both the beauty of color and light frozen in a static moment.
