What do you do when the government that the people of the land chose to protect them turns hostile towards its own?

What do you do when your survival is dependent upon your submission?

What happens when the borders meant to define your home become the walls of a prison?

You carry whatever you can on your back & you leave.

This photograph captures the raw, physical toll of that final choice, the right to exit.

This photograph was initially submitted to the open call of 'Keys & Gates' (a 6529 Network Museum Benefit Work Edition and Accession Program #1) but was not selected in the Top-16. Though it managed to get somewhere around the Top-40 mark with the support of the community; which in itself is a huge achievement, considering the quality of the works submitted by many talented photographers!

Keeping that in mind, I’m airdropping an edition each to everyone who voted for my drop; and to punk6529 & 6529Museum Wallet, as a token of appreciation for building the rails of a decentralized infrastructure where so many cool things are happening.
