Stygian Vespulax are Troglobites of the Metamorph species that live in sparkling caverns, the cave is called Shimmermist Cavern. This creature has an egg-like shape which it uses to store light catches as food, it uses the tentacles at the bottom of its head to absorb light in crystal stones and sparkling mushrooms. Its sparkling red-blue scales are a radiant glow as a result of its digestion as a light-consuming creature. He also has a long claw on both arms which he uses to prey on other creatures and steal light eggs from his prey.

Stygian Vespulax is the second subspecies of the Metacreatura species to appear in the Metacreatura series.
