1959
Uecker occupied himself with the medium of light, studied optical phenomena, series of structures and the realms of oscillation that actively integrate the viewer and enable him to influence the visual process by kinetic or manual interference. Uecker increasingly used nails as an artistic means of expression. He began combining nails with the theme of light, creating his series of light nails and kinetic nails and other works resulting in an interaction of the different elements to create a sensatation of light, space, movement and time.

Meta Art Conversions are about evolving modern & contemporary art into the metaverse while also showing there’s more to them than meets the eye. Traditional musea can only show the work in a single state, the metaverse can show them in ongoing states, moving, interacting, changing. Showing these art pieces in new ways while retaining their historic value and paying an hommage to them.
