MANTIS is an alien 3D dance piece inspired by the surrealist poetics of artist Salvador Dali and the aesthetics of the Praying Mantis insect, both in its body morphology and in the mechanics and dynamics of its movements. The creation was carried out based on research into the mixture of dance language with animation and 3D simulation techniques.
