These monochromatic suspenseful images are shot by Verlin from an underground event in Cavite. Organized by Ingay Likha which offers a venue for different forms of art — like music, rap battle, spoken poetry, and live art to name a few. It was all about performing the best out of you by sharing your voice, your art in an open atmosphere where artists celebrate each others unrestrained work in their truest form.

Rey visualizes this intense passion and genuine chaotic culture with free-flowing brush strokes and evocative textures.

They try to capture and portray this one-of-a-kind phenomenon were artists coming from different backgrounds all sharing their art with one another, and ultimately creating a culture that welcomes anyone from all walks of life.
