The second sun is not really in the sky. It floats above the Realms as if submerged in a liquid substance that would literally be between the heaven and the earth. The endless canopy (known by many names among the cultures) sometimes obscures the floating sun and occasionally even captures it for several days. Those days are sacred, accompanied by strange lights. These lights and the whole atmosphere is never the same on different events. There is probably a certain logic to these phenomena, but, for example, eluābu will tell you a very different story than Lutrani or Kalameghi.
