Presence painting is my main performance. It is an augmented portrait to catch the presence of the model through a set of different mediums. All the digital artworks of the LEAFDRIP collections are associated with Presence painting performances. LEAFDRIP, in reference to the water dripping off leaves to the ground surface. Indeed I paint with liquid paint on large format hung on the wall of my studio. The LEAFDRIP-Lesbos collection was created from the XS paintings of the Presence Painting n°37. XS Paintings are full of energy and very colourful, it’s a fantastic base to create digital artworks. The XS paintings on paper are made after each presence painting session with the paint still fresh from the XL matrix paintings. Each one defines a space, a territory, a place, a landscape in which travelling. 20 NFTs will be minted for ever in the LEAFDRIP-Lesbos collection.
