Description
A reflection on the subjective perception of reality and the social construction of landscape. With references to Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology, the artworks explore the tension between the objective vision of nature and human intervention, highlighting how the human hand can literally "grab" and manipulate the visual panorama. Additionally, Arne Naess's deep ecology theory permeates the collection, prompting the viewer to question their relationship with the environment and the consequences of human actions on the earth. The work thus becomes a visual meditation on the connection between humans and the world around them, inviting a critical reconsideration of our impact on the environment.
