Do you know how many times I tried? How many times I fell? How many times I failed? Through broken dreams I held on Rose yet again And now I lost count I fall again and again What do they say about insanity? Repeating the same thing Expecting a different result But am I going in circles I try and try and try I think it’s different now I’m changed I use different words And yet you push me away You push me down Step on me And smirk And I fall once more Tasting the bitter earth Mixed with my blood and tears Reminded that my journey Ultimately leads me back here Buried within While today I stand battered and bruised Because I fall yet again
