Working mainly on comics, Jérôme Laureau is currently working on a complex story that serves as a pretext to explore the limits of the genre : narration, readability, etc.

From a pictorial point of view, he is part of the expressionist trend, which has been irrigating the art world since the end of the 19th century. Punk in the soul, his artistic work, even if vital, must not take too much importance, because it is in his eyes when a thing takes too much importance, that it must be considered with the most lightness perspective.

His favorite subject is the human body. The Punk Troopers series is an attempt to illustrate the body at war, that is to say, the body abused at the scale of the species as well as the individual.
