Description
Paniya tribe The one who works hard on the soil. The legends and folklore suggests the origin of Paniya tribe as the working class who toiled hard on paddy fields of western ghats. Traditional earings made with red seeds stuck inside palm leaf using beeswax is typical of Paniya women's identity that got passed on through generations.
