ICELAND. STAR DATE; 2021.

Multicolored mineral deposits stain the earth in this wide spread geothermal area. Icelands tectonic plates make for dramatic consequences on it’s landscapes. As the plates pull apart, magma is brought close to the surface of the earth, causing groundwater to boil and create these mud pots, colorful blue sulphur textures, and steaming vents in the earth. Truly like walking into another dimension, I wanted to capture this area with a unique perspective from above.
