Seize the Night. The image that changed everything.
A few years ago I set a new goal, a new way to shoot astro, but there was a lot of frustration with tech issues, trying to get my new equatorial tracking mount aligned with the south celestial pole, how to combine this with multirow panoramas, weather wasn't helping, but I finally got the shot I had been working towards for months.
It became easier after perfected this technique, this was the point my astro changed, allowing cleaner more detailed images. Seeing the colors pop on the back of the camera was amazing!
This shot went viral on social media, it was fantastic people were actually seeing it and the work I had put in.
The original file size of this image is a jaw dropping 500mp
