This work aims to explore the expanding collaborative realm between human and machine creativity. A machine learning algorithm, StyleGAN2, was trained on 1000 images of the last seven years of my personal abstract photography— first learning to recreate still images, before creating an infinite number of novel images in the latent space between each frame which are then animated to create the progression in the video.

The audio is created from over 200 pieces of ambient music, reflecting the general soundtrack I would listen to while creating the photography over the past several years, then processed through an open source protocol from the Magenta Project called Music Transformer. This would create MIDI "sheet music" which I could then compose the original soundtrack from.

This is the first piece in what I hope to be a long series of collaboration.
