Starting with a flower-like pattern, I worked my way around it until the page was filled. The slight wobbliness of my hand while drawing caused the strokes to sway and undulate, producing a mesmerizing effect that can be entirely absorbing. I often lose myself in the process and become wholly engrossed in the drawing until I finish it.
